WIP Wednesday
25 Feb 2026 09:54Have not finished any projects since my last post, but I've made a little progress on most of them! Always chomping at the bit to pick up something new, but I've been doing good about making time for my current projects instead.
Ravelry - I officially reached the heel last week! I need to review the instructions and stitches to continue, which I'm hoping to to on Saturday this week! On the bright side, these have a short cuff, so I think once I get past this hump, getting to and through the second sock should be much easier.
Ravelry - I have not touched this since my last post as I've been very focused on knitting. I think my goal is going to be to finish these rolags before the fiber festival in June which means I should start fitting some spinning time into my weekly routine again.
Ravelry - I remembered after my last post that I had saved a couple other people's projects on Ravelry as I wanted to copy their modifications, but confirmed I did not myself notes. I am still trying to wrap my head around it, but I may just need to give it a go and expect some frogging along the way.
Usually my calls with my mom are my embroidery time, but between her work and then my parents' trip for their anniversary, we haven't gotten to properly chat in a bit. ;n; We're supposed to call today so she can tell me about their trip, so planning to actually finish this today.
Neocities - I've mostly worked on doing some of the less fun things to clean the site up like compressing files and correcting typos and working on my credits page. I have some writing I'd like to do (more detailed thoughts on Dragon Age: Veilguard for my shrine and thoughts about Mandalorians for my Star Wars page) as well as some imaging I'd like to do to for my media page. So much to do! So little brain power, lol.
I am actually really pleased with where I am at with my pledge right now. I'm mostly working on just writing, working those muscles and finding my voice again, so the writing is mostly little vignettes rather than anything substantial. Would love to try doing some more poetry next month. Have been feeling the pull but feeling a little nervous to give it a go.
Switchin to Linux, apartment decorating, the spare bedroom, and Dreamwidth customization are still on the back burner. Nothing really new to say except the spare bedroom has maybe gotten a little worse. >.> My bad.

And oh yeah, definitely ask first regarding Linux distros and supported software! Mint is pretty good though!
